False Catholic Doctrine
Catholics teach a gospel of meterious works, completely
opposite of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. According to God’s Holy Word, anything
that is added to Christ’s finished Work on the cross is a denial of the Gospel
of Christ. It is “another gospel”.
2 Cor. 11:4 For if he that cometh
preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another
spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not
accepted, ye might well bear with him. (KJV) Galatians 1:6 I marvel that ye are
so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another
gospel: (KJV)
The Catholic church claims infallibility in its councils and
doctrines - - - but it clearly and determinedly denies the Biblical Gospel of
Christ. The Council of Trent states:
6th Session, Canon 9: If anyone says that a sinner is
justified by faith alone, meaning that nothing else is required to cooperate in
order to obtain the grace of justification . . . let him be anathema.
The BIBLE
states:
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV)
Ephes. 2:8-9 For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift
of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV)
**************************************
6th Session, Canon 12: If anyone shall say that justifying
faith is nothing else than confidence in the divine mercy which remits sins for
Christ’s saks, or that it is this confidence alone by which we are justified:
let him be anathema.
The BIBLE
states:
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the
works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in
Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the
works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (KJV)
Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by he
law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
(KJV)
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more
of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it
no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. (KJV)
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting
life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . Jesus' words.
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (KJV)
1 Cor. 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye
are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord
Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (KJV)
**************************************
6th Session, Canon 30: If anyone says that after the
reception of the grace of justification the guilt is so remitted and the debt
of eternal punishment so blotted out to every repentant sinner, that no debt of
temporal punishment remains to be discharged either in this world or in
purgatory before the gates of heaven can be opened, let him be anathema.
The BIBLE
states:
Romans 5:9 Much more
then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through
him. (KJV)
Romans 4:6-8 Even
as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth
righteousness without works, [7] Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are
forgiven, and whose sins are covered. [8] Blessed is the man to whom the Lord
will not impute sin. (KJV)
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (KJV)
2 Cor. 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing
rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
(KJV)
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting
life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . Jesus' words.
Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their
unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
(KJV)
Hebrews 10:17-18 And their sins and iniquities will I
remember no more. [18] Now where remission of these is, there is no more
offering for sin. (KJV)
1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; [19]
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without
spot: (KJV)
**************************************
7th Session, Canon 4: If anyone says that the sacraments of
the New Law [canons and decrees of the Church] are not necessary for salvation
but . . . without them . . . men obtain from God through faith alone the grace
of justification . . . let him be anathema.
The BIBLE
states:
Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him
that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted fro rihteousness. (KJV)
Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one
judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one
the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. (KJV)
Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate,
them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he
justified, them he also glorified. (KJV)
1 Cor. 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye
are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord
Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (KJV)
2 Cor. 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for
us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
(KJV)
1 Cor. 1:30-31 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus,
who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and
redemption: [31] That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him
glory in the Lord. (KJV)
Galatians 2:21 I
do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then
Christ is dead in vain. (KJV)
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified
by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have
believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ,
and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be
justified. (KJV)
Philip. 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine
own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of
Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: (KJV)
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace,
we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (KJV)
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (KJV)
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but
the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth
salvation hath appeared to all men, (KJV)
John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled:
ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father's house are many
mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for
you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and
receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. [4] And whither
I go ye know, and the way ye know. (KJV) . . . Jesus' words.
Consider
the following verse!
1 Cor. 16:22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. (KJV)
This is the only verse in the entire Bible
the word “Anathema” is found. It means cursed. Do you see what God states in this verse? Those who love Christ look
forward to His return (Titus 2:13). To those who do not love the Lord, Paul
says, let them be cursed. Who will you believe? God - - - or man?
Matthew
15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the
commandments of men. (KJV) . . . Jesus' words.
“Anathema” in the above Catholic decrees damns to Hell
anyone who rejects the Catholic Church’s false gospel of works. And these laws
are still very much in force.
The BIBLE damns ONLY those who
love NOT the Lord Jesus Christ.
