Indifference in America
Lam. 1:12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. (KJV)
The children of Israel had sinned against the LORD. Jeremiah had been sent by God to warn the Israelites to either repent or face His judgment, but the Israelites continued on in their rebellion and sin, just like America is doing today.
Jer. 25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. (KJV)
Jeremiah had pronounces impending judgment upon Jerusalem because of their stubbornness and unwillingness to turn back to God. Now it was too late to stop judgment, Babylon would conquer Jerusalem and dominate the Israelites for 70 years! And IF America does not come to her senses, it will also be too late for her.
But, God in His mercy still offered hope to Israel through the prophet Jeremiah. If the people of Jerusalem would simply surrender to King Nebuchadnezzar's military forces, all would be well. The people of Jerusalem would have been allowed to remain in Israel, in their homes, serving the King of Babylon from Jerusalem. But, Israel's leaders were stubborn and stiff-necked. They imprisoned Jeremiah for preaching God's Word and left him for dead below the city in a miry clay pit. Israel's rulers refused to listen, calling Jeremiah a heretic and liar. Sad to say that those who are bringing the Truth today are looked at as nutso’s and also called heretics and liars.
Today, we do have some preaching the Truth today, as did Jeremiah, but we also have false prophets proclaiming damnable heresies (2 Pet.2:1), as Hananiah did. And we also have millions of Americans who refuse to submit to God's Law (a much lighter yoke), but instead have made for themselves unbreakable yokes of iron: addiction, drunkenness, divorce, prisons, and social breakdown, at the Hand of God's judgment. Jeremiah had appeared before the king and princes of Israel wearing a yoke of wood, which symbolized Israel surrendering to the rule of Babylon, as God had commanded them to do. The false prophet Hananiah broke off the yoke of wood from Jeremiah's shoulders and accused him of being a heretic (critic, skeptic, unbeliever).
Jer. 28:12-15 Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, 13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron. 14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also. 15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie. (KJV)
Just like Hananiah, most religious leaders in America today will NOT listen to the TRUTH. Instead, in March of 2015 a disgusting 20,562 Presbyterian ministers in 10,083 Presbyterian churches approved of same-sex marriages. That is WICKEDNESS in God’s Eyes! Abortion is murder, a sin! Drunkenness is stupidity, a sin! Homosexuality is still a filthy sin! God does NOT change! Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. (KJV) . . . And God's Word never changes!!! All the time that the prophet Jeremiah was preaching and warning Israel of coming judgment, no one listened. No one cared! No one listened to the TRUTH he spoke. I try to warn people about the satanic, so-called modern Bible versions, but few people listen. Sad to say, most religious people are set in their apostate ways and are unconcerned. It doesn't matter to them which Bible version they use. And many want no part of the King James Bible, because it is God's inspired Holy Word.
After not paying attention to the prophet Jeremiah's strict and repeated plea to surrender, Babylon steadily conquered Jerusalem by means of three separate invasions spaced several years apart. In the first invasion, Daniel was taken captive with the wealthy. In the second invasion, Ezekiel was taken captive with the middleclass. The third invasion took place in 586 BC, when Babylon invaded, burned and annihilated the city of Jerusalem. The poor were spared. Jeremiah was spared. In the heap of smoldering ruins, Jeremiah weeps and cries out as the people uncaringly pass by; which brought us to our text verse from Jeremiah's writing in Lamentations 1:12 . . . “Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by?”
Possibly the greatest enemy which America faces today is not a foreign power, nor even the Communist rebellion from within; but rather, our own INDIFFERENCE . . . It doesn't matter one way or the other attitude . . . and it starts with all of us. Evil could not have gotten away with this if people did not give-in to and accept evil and corruption.
I realize that most people will get angry or laugh at what I write, but I made these websites with God's help and guidance to reach out to those lone ones that are searching for the Truth. I have a deep concern for lost souls. I try my best to reach them for Jesus so they can have eternal life in Heaven one day . . . NOT the agonizing eternity in a blazing Hell.
King Nebuchadnezzar (a heathen Babylonian king) had heard about Jeremiah's preaching and spared Jeremiah's life when Jerusalem was invaded for the final time in 586 B.C. Babylon was brutal towards the people of Jerusalem. King Zedekiah's daughters and wives were raped and taken into captivity, his sons were executed by the sword in front of his own eyes, and then Zedekiah's eyes were burned out of his head by the Babylonian soldiers. How tragic were all these events, yet the most tragic thing was that all this could have been easily avoided had Israel simply obeyed the Word of God.
Upon Babylon's final invasion of Jerusalem, the city was totally destroyed and burned to the ground. The women were ravished and killed, children were slain in the streets, men were slaughtered everywhere. The mighty men were executed. The remnants of the wealth of Israel was harvested from the city. At its end, only the very poor, sick and elderly were left in the city, including Jeremiah. Jeremiah sat in the smoldering ash heaps of what was once the city of God's people and wept bitterly because of what had happened to the people. Wouldn't it have been much better simply to obey God in the first place? Yes, absolutely! If Israel had just obeyed God, none of this would have happened. America, are you listening?
In the months that followed, Jeremiah noticed that the remaining people did not seem too concerned about what had happened. Jeremiah spoke boldly and asked the soul-searching question, “Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by?” Jeremiah was simply asking, “Don't you people care at all?” “Doesn't it mean anything to you that Jerusalem has been destroyed?” But the people did not care. So sad! If they had cared in the first place, they would have stood up against their stupid leaders, demanding that God's Word be heeded. No one really seemed to care what had happened, not even after the damage was done. Dear one, do you care about what's going on in America today? I care. I care a lot! And I'm upset about it!
America is in the similar, serious situation today, but will we listen? Is it anything to us? Never in the history of the United States have Americans cared so little about God, the Holy Bible, decency, morality, our children, faith and righteousness or America's government. Most Americans care only about when’s the next football game, what's on TV tonight, what's for dinner, and is there's beer in the refrigerator. It is called complacency (arrogance, self-satisfaction, contentment) and it is destroying this nation. America is falling prey to evil hands, the New World Order. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_World_Order_(conspiracy_theory)
1 Cor. 10:5-12 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. (KJV)
BEWARE!!! On Judgment Day, the punishments imposed upon Israel will be also imposed upon Christians . . . IF they backslide and sin after the example of Israel (Rom.2:11-16)
Twelve ways, of many, to tempt God:
#1. Murmuring (Ex.17:2; 1 Cor.10:6)
#2. Unbelief (Ex.17:7; Heb.4:1-11)
#3. Rebellion (Num.14:22; 21:1-9)
#4. Provoking God (Ps.78:17-18, 56)
#5. Backsliding (Ps.78:41, 56)
#6. Hardening the heart (Ps.95:8-9)
#7. Lust and sin (Ex.32; Ps.106:14)
#8. Idolatry (Ex.20:3-5; Lev.18:21; 20:2-5; Deut.12:31; 18:10; 1 Cor.10:7, 18-22)
#9. Spiritual Blindness (Ps.14:1, 4; 73:2-28; 79:6; Isa.42:18-20; 44:18-20; 1 Cor.1:18-21; 15:34)
#10. Pride (Deut.8:11-14; Ps.10:2-6, 11; 12:4; 1 Cor.1:29; 3:18; Rev.3:17-18; 18:7-8)
#11. Ingratitude (Gen.3:1-7; Num.11:4-6; 21:5)
#12. Rejection of God (1 Sam.8:7; 10:19; 15:23; Ps.81:11; Pro.1:24)

Christians cannot just sit idle while Satan runs his course. We must fight against evil wherever and whenever it rears its ugly head. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing! Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (KJV)
I love America, but hate the corruption and injustice that exists in our government, which is so widespread, especially at the highest levels. It is high time that Christians started waking up, because we are quickly losing our freedoms. No matter which party, Republican or Democrat that has been in The White House in the past 35-years, abortion is legal, baby parts are being sold, the lies of Evolution are being forced upon children, manufacturing jobs are leaving America, the Federal Reserve is destroying America, illegal drugs are being marketed into the country, and trillions of taxpayer dollars are being stolen.
“The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom and before I leave office, I must inform the citizens of this plight.” —President John Fitzgerald Kennedy - In a speech made to Columbia University on Nov. 12, 1963, ten days before his assassination!
Now you know in part why they killed Kennedy. The following quote is by Myron Fagan, which explains the rest...
*NOTE: Jack Kennedy [also known as John F. Kennedy], during his term of office as the President of the United States, became a Christian. In his attempt to “repent,” he tried to inform the people of this Nation (at least twice) that the Office of the President of the United States was being manipulated by the Illuminati/CFR. At the same time, he put a stop to the “borrowing” of Federal Reserve Notes from the Federal Reserve Bank and began issuing United States Notes (which was interest-free) on the credit of the United States. It was the issuing of the United States Notes that caused Jack Kennedy to be “assassinated.”
We have every right to demand the truth from our government because everything they do, they do in our name and with our money, and with our children in the military. So, it is our business. It is not the unanswered questions that should concern us as much as the unquestioned answers. The media is bursting with lying propaganda. The government is spending our money in our name and we have a right to know where it goes. Our First Amendment right is to peaceably protest against the government. It is our lawful right as citizens of the United States. If only more Christians and churches would do this. Dark storm clouds are gathering, and it is going to get worse!
To be uncaring and unresponsive is a sin, because it leaves the door wide open for Satan. Our government is going to do to us whatever we allow them to do. We must fight to defend our liberties and freedom. Why are Americans so indifferent? One of the signs of a TRUE Christian is someone who truly cares about others. A TRUE Christian cares about the TRUTH! The heathen world offers an imitation type of love, one that is here one minute and gone the next. God cares and He most certainly wants us to care. Love is all about caring for others. The state of America today has made people indifferent and has deadened them about God and sin and wickedness. Only the Word of God can clean our hearts and renew our desire to fight the good fight of faith for the Lord. https://www.godcannotlie.org/true_children_of_god.htm
