The Judgment of the Lost

I believe that after the release of Satan after the thousand year reign of Christ (the Millennium), Satan will deceive the nations of the Earth and gather them to battle against the saints and the beloved city.
Revelation 20:7-8 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. (KJV)

At this time Satan and his army will be devoured by fire from heaven. Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. (KJV)

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (KJV)

At which point Christ, who is the Judge of all people, will resurrect and judge the great and small at the Great White Throne judgment.
John 5:22-23 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. (KJV)

I believe that this resurrection of the unsaved dead to judgment will be a physical resurrection, where they shall receive their sentence. Romans 14:11-12 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (KJV)

These shall be committed to an eternal CONSCIOUS punishment in the lake of fire.

Eternal Security and Assurance of Believers

I believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are therefore secure in Christ forever.
John 6:37-40 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. I believe that believers are privileged to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation because of the testimony of God’s Word which, however, clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion to the flesh.
