Welcome to our web site

THE WRATH OF GOD

The wrath of God, is God’s righteous anger brought about when we sin and is expressed in His righteous and divine judgment. God’s righteousness (one of His tremendous attributes) requires that He bring judgment upon sin. God is Holy, and in His Holiness and justice, He must deal with sin accordingly. When people change or distort God’s revelation of WHO He is, God simply turns them over to their many perversions. When men reject the revelation of God in Creation, He turns them over to that which is not natural. When men refuse to honor and glorify God, He simply turns them over to that sin which dishonors them.

God’s wrath is both present and future. In addition to the fact of God’s timing in judgment, there are several other clear distinctions between God’s present wrath and His coming wrath:
(1). God’s present wrath is mainly inactive, His future wrath shall be very active.
(2). God’s present wrath allows sin to increase; God’s future wrath will end all sin.
(3). God’s present wrath is often not accepted as such, His future wrath cannot be missed.
(4). God’s present wrath can be reversed; His future wrath will never be reversed.

God’s present wrath punishes people by giving them what they want, allowing them to plunge more deeply into sin. Why does God deal with sin this way? Consider the parable of the wheat and the tares.
Matthew 13:29-30 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. (KJV)
The devil sowed tares among the wheat which has already been planted. The workers tell their master, who told them to let both grow together, and when they have matured, both the wheat and the tares will be plain as to what they are, and the tares can be pulled up and burned.

So too with sin. God allows sin to increase, to the point where it becomes more visible. And it is certainly visible in America today! Possibly those who have drunk most deeply from the cup of sin, may be ready to give it up, being sickened by it and who want to be forgiven and delivered. The prodigal son plunged so deep in sin, that it was in a pig pen that he came to himself  (Luke 15:17), repented, and returned to his father.

When God gives men over/up to sin, He is not giving up on them. Giving men over to sin is God’s way of encouraging them to forsake their sin and to be saved. God’s present wrath can be reversed, and men can escape. The Good News of the Gospel is that God’s anger toward sin has been satisfied in Christ because His wrath was poured out on Him, at Calvary. All who have trusted in what Jesus did on the cross, have already been punished . . . He did it for us! No one needs to suffer God’s eternal wrath, for Christ has suffered it for us . . . all you have to do is accept it! Have you believed God and accepted His forgiveness in Christ Jesus’ Work on the cross? 1 John 5:10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV)

God’s future wrath, cannot be reversed or escaped! Only those who trust in Him will ever share in God’s salvation through His only begotten Son. God’s future wrath shall fall on ALL those who refuse to believe God and reject the suffering that Christ Jesus bore on the cross, bearing God’s wrath, in their place. 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (KJV) NO one has to go to eternal Hell!

Men choose to reject God, they refuse to accept Him because they are determined to live their lives without Him. In the Great Tribulation, God will give men their desire in a much greater way (2 Thes. 2). The One and Only Almighty God will remove His Hand, and all the entire Universe will become chaos. People will not know if the sun will rise or if the stars will fall from Heaven (Mat.24:29). This will be the most terrifying time men have ever known, when God gives men what they want. Mat. 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (KJV) . . . But the Tribulation Period will be God’s way of turning men and women to Himself in faith and in repentance. There will be many turn to Him in that horrific time. Do not wait, go to Him NOW! You need NOT suffer in the Great Tribulation Period!

Dear one, sin is a judgment, it is NOT a reward. It is a CURSE, because it allows people to drink more deeply from the cup of sin, which is a judgment. To envy a sinner because you think they are enjoying the good things in life, is a trick of Satan! Dear one, our God is a Good God, and He does not hold back anything that is good for us. He watches over us and takes care of His people because He loves us.

Heaven is the place where saints (God’s TRUE children) will forever do that which is good, perfect and a delight to Him. Heaven is the place where we will be busy with the endless joy of worshipping and praising God and serving Him . . . like people should be doing now, but which unbelievers refuse to do. Romans 1:21-22 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (KJV)

Hell is the place where God will give men eternity to reel and painfully struggle in the sins which they so desired, which they thought were such a delight. God not only reveals His wrath by giving the unbelieving men what they want; He sometimes chastens Christians by giving them what they want, out of their lusts and sinful desires, to get them to repent. Paul does not tell us that God only reveals His wrath presently on the unbelieving, but rather that He is presently revealing His wrath toward “all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men,” both the believing and the unbelieving! Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (KJV) God who is always fair takes all sin seriously, including the sins of His people.

There are times when our desires are not godly desires, but simply fleshly lusts. We may pray that God give them to us, and He might just do just that. But . . . IF it is wrong for you, it could be the chastisement of God (Heb.12:8) and not a blessing. It may be that God is allowing you to have your fill of some desire, only for you to see how wrong it really was. God may give us what we want, so we can come to our senses and change our desires.

The wrath of God should be an encouraging truth. It should be a fearful reality, a warning against sin. For the unsaved, it should motivate them to turn in faith to God for salvation, and for the Christian, it should be a great source of encouragement and hope. We who pray for the Coming of His kingdom, so that God’s will might be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven (Mat.6:10), should find comfort and joy in the wrath of God, which will not only punish sin, but which will remove sin, once and for all, from the Earth. Rev. 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (KJV)

We were created to worship the One and Only, TRUE Creator God, and have fellowship with Him alone. When people forget this and cast Him aside, they ‘create’ for themselves ‘other’ gods, putting these false gods where the Living and TRUE God should be. Whoever or whatever comes first in your life is your god! Please remember that the false god you worship shall one day put you in  the Presence of the One and Only, Creator God Who shall also be your Judge! This Almighty Judge, in His Holy wrath, shall sentence you to an everlasting Hell.
Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of
fire. (KJV) . . . You do NOT want to be condemned to an eternal He
