Increase of Wickedness

Lawlessness and lack of control dominates our society today. WHY? It is a pattern that all through history was found in people in the process of decline. It is a pattern unmistakable in nations that rejected God's Word as ultimate authority in their lives and is a pattern that prevails in many Americans today.

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (KJV) . . . Jesus' words.
And because iniquity shall abound . . . the malice and wickedness of violent persecutors, will greatly increase; the treachery and hatred of apostates; the errors and heresies of false teachers; the wickedness that prevailed in the lives of some that were called Christians . . . it seems that all these are hinted at in this context, as making up the abounding iniquity spoken of here.
The love of many shall wax cold . . . this would be the case of many, but NOT of all . . . for in the midst of this abounding iniquity, there were some whose love to Christ, to His Gospel, and to the saints, did not decrease . . . BUT there were many (Mat.7:13), whose enthusiasm for Christ, was greatly dampened, because of the violence of persecution, and through the deceit of false brethren, they withdrew from the saints, for they knew not who to trust. Through the damnable heresies (2 Pet.2:1) of the false teachers, a form of godliness (2 Tim.3:5), and the vital heat of religion, many were almost lost; and because of a love of the world, and of carnal pleasure, love to the saints had grown very cold. This does not say their love shall be lost, but wax (grow) cold.

Our founding fathers never imagined a day when military policies would forbid chaplains from praying in Jesus' name, or when a nativity scene would be considered unconstitutional. This is an outrage! America's lawmakers, judges and politicians are so hypocritical. When it comes to praying in Jesus' name, they're concerned about the rights of that one Atheist who doesn't like it; but when it comes to propagating the evils of evolution and Communism, or cursing in God's name, they could care less about an individual's rights. It just clearly shows how Satan is relentlessly working in our government to corrupt and destroy America. This is why the only time an individual's rights is upheld is when it's an Atheist or God-hater? Do you think the military cares about your Christian rights? Do you think they'll listen to you if you complain about some heathen who curses in God's name? The military condones cursing in God's name, even Wiccan witch gatherings, but don't you dare mention Jesus.

I believe that rejection of Christ Jesus is the reason behind all the bloodshed, violence, racial hatred, moral decay, drug abuse and the all the deadly sexual diseases in our society. The United States has passed some really stupid laws: NO prayer in schools and NO mention of the Name of JESUS are two of them.

Lawmakers, educators and the media have made God an unspeakable subject. Even in prisons, there is a ban on religious mottos, including the Ten Commandments. And worse yet, many of our churches no longer exalt Christ Jesus as Lord and King. Judgment shall fall on all the wicked, who reject Jesus and disobey God.

Wickedness all around us! Wickedness is worsening continually, just as it did in the days before the Flood!
