Noah Found Grace in the Eyes of the LORD

Genesis 6:8-13 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. (KJV)

Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD! Since Noah found grace, God had examined ALL of mankind, and ONLY Noah pleased God. My friend, Noah was an absolute fool in the eyes of the people of his day. Today, those few faithful ones who believe that the Bible says God made the Earth, and then destroyed the Earth because of sin, in a universal Flood are called fools and are laughed and ridiculed by the world, just as they mocked Noah!

Uniformitarianism teaches all the geological phenomena on Earth may be explained as resulting from observable processes that we see in operation today. These fools reject the miracle of the Flood and deny that God has intervened in history, then and now. Because they cannot SEE what caused the Flood in operation today, even though they can clearly SEE the evidence around them, they DENY that the Flood actually happened. My friend, they are rejecting God.
We knew a young man years ago, who said that two years of college had ruined him. He said it removed all his common sense. He could not think for himself. That is how I feel about these educated fools who reject God!

Noah was a righteous man who professed to know God, and obeyed God! Noah believed God! Noah trusted God! The sinful men of his day refused to believe in the Almighty Creator, just as uncounted millions do today. This was the difference between Noah and the rest of mankind. Noah was the minority. Noah was almost alone in believing in God, yet he was right and everyone else was wrong. Noah submitted himself completely to God and worshiped Him. Because Noah believed, his faith was counted as righteousness and God saved him and his family. Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (KJV)
The wickedness of all those around him did not stop him from being obedient to God. The rest of the world was deep in terrible sin, yet Noah stood firm in his faith! May the "FEW" loyal ones today (Mat.7:14), STAND FIRM IF THEIR FAITH as Noah did! Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)

The warning should be very clear to us. Even though the world around us is deep in great sin, and worsening on a daily basis, we must, like Noah, stay faithful to the Lord. Noah was a man, the same as all men. He was tempted to sin. He had a carnal nature the same as all other men. He CHOSE to live for God, and the Lord gave him strength to walk in a righteous manner each and every day. The same awesome power is available to us, IF we believe God and let God direct our lives.

Wickedness all around us! Wickedness is worsening continually, just as it did in the days before the Flood!
