God considers false doctrines to be "damnable". Damnable = perdition, destruction, waste, to die, perish, pernicious. Actually, heresies are an abomination to Almighty God! ?? Is It Right to Judge False Teachers??

?? Is It Right to Name Names??

Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. (KJV) . . . Jesus' words.Many who read this will say I am completely wrong in judging false teachers, and they will spout out this famous but SO misunderstood verse. IF you condemn me by this one verse . . . you are wrong! You are taking the verse out of context. Read the whole chapter before condemning me . . . and other Christians who are really concerned about your soul.

Faithful, concerned Christians must discern (judge) on the basis of God's Holy Word, the Bible. To discern is to distinguish right from wrong (Mal.3:18). It means to judge right from wrong, by the Bible! Those who are unwilling or incapable of discerning or judging between good and evil are either revealing their disobedience or their immaturity.

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. (KJV) . . . Mark them!

Philippians 3:17-19 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. [18] (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: [19] Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) (KJV) . . . Mark them!

Mark them. Mark = take heed; look on; look at; consider; observe attentively, cautiously, and faithfully. Warn, expose, be on guard against ALL false teachers and false doctrines. Determine who the real causes are of the divisions that spring up, avoid them and warn others of these people.

It Is Right To Expose False Teachers

A firm YES!!! False teachers are free to spread their deadly doctrines today because many Bible believers keep silent. Wolves in sheep's clothing are thus enabled to ravage the flock, thereby leading many vulnerable souls to Hell.

Jesus said to the religious Pharisees, "O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh" (Mat. 12:34). To many evangelicals and even some fundamentalists, this would be unacceptable language today, but it is biblical language and it came from the mouth of the Son of God.

Jesus called them "hypocrites","blind guides," "blind, " "whited sepulchres, " "serpents," and "ye generation of vipers" (Mat. 23:23-34). Yet today men (and women) whose doctrines are just as unscriptural as those of the Pharisees, run rampant! Many claim to be Bible believing Christians . . . yet they work with Roman Catholics and other cult heretics. But, if anyone exposes these people and their damnable heresies, we are harshly judged and looked down on, and condemned in their eyes! TRUE Christians are to imitate Jesus, and He absolutely judged and exposed false teachers.

Today false teachers have come into the churches with their books, music, literature, movies, psychology, and seminars, and have turned the Father's house into a den of thieves (Mat.21:13). It is time that TRUE children of God stand up and expose their errors for all to see.

The Bible Warns Us To Expose Error

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (KJV)

ALL doctrine and ALL teachers are to be tried according to the Word of God. And IF they do NOT speak according to God's Word, it is because there is NO light in them (Isa. 8:20). Every message, messenger, and method MUST be judged according to the Word of God. We are to MARK them and AVOID them. They CANNOT be marked and avoided, unless they are judged according to the Word of God.

Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; (KJV) . . . Billy Graham, Oral Roberts, Richard Roberts, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Robert Schuller, Jimmy Swaggart, Pat Robertson, Benny Hinn and a multitude of others are subverting whole houses with their false doctrine today. People just sit by silently as they do this . . . they will NOT rebuke, they will NOT warn people to stay away from these people and their heresies.

We are to have NO FELLOWSHIP with false teachers and their doctrines. Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (KJV) . . . Reprove means to censure, condemn, find fault, rebuke, and refute. To obey this Scripture, we MUST judge them by the Word of God! And we MUST name them or many will keep going to these wolves' churches.

We are to WITHDRAW from them (2 Thes.3:6). Paul admonished Timothy to "withdraw thyself " from those who "consent not to wholesome words ... and to the doctrine which is according to godliness " (I Tim. 6:3-5).

We are to TURN AWAY from them. (2 Tim. 3:5,7). How can we turn away from them if we do not identify them?

We are NOT to RECEIVE them into our house. "If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds" (2 John 10, I 1). There is no doubt about who John is speaking about, it is "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ... " (v.9). By radio, TV, music and literature, false prophets are brought into the homes of many Christians today. BEWARE!

We are to REJECT HERETICS. (Titus 3: 10). We should reject those who deny redemption by the precious Blood of Christ. There are MANY who deny this and other doctrines of the Word of God. If they will not respond to being warned, they are to be rejected.

BEWARE of anyone who preaches another Jesus and another gospel (2 Cor.11:4). Paul warned about those who preached "another Jesus ... another spirit ... or another gospel." How can we know them unless we judge their Jesus, their spirit, and their gospel by the Word of God? Paul called such preachers "false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ" (2 Cor. 11:13). These preachers are ministers of Satan. BEWARE!

Many today "pervert the gospel of Christ." Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (KJV) . . . Pretty serious words!

Many today are preaching a perverted gospel. Those who teach salvation by baptism, or by works, are teaching a perverted gospel. Those who preach a salvation that you can lose, are preaching a perverted gospel. Charismatics, Catholics, many evangelicals, and many fundamentalists (?) are preaching a perverted another gospel, and another Jesus (2 Cor.11:4). If we fail to expose these false prophets, then we betray Jesus Christ and His Gospel.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, (KJV) . . . We are to SEPARATE ourselves from them. God's people are to come out of apostasy and religious error. How can any Bible believer stay in the National Council or World Council of Churches? How can they stay with compromising evangelicals and hypocritical fundamentalists?

It Is Right To Name Names

Many believe that it is wrong to expose error in churches and to name the guilty teachers; but they are wrong according to the Bible

Paul named Peter publicly. Peter was guilty of unscriptural practice. (Gal. 2:11-14)
Paul named Demas for loving the world. (2 Tim. 4:10).
Paul named Hymenaeus and Alexander. (1 Tim. 1: 18-20).
Paul named Hymenaeus and Philetus. (2 Tim. 2:15-18).
Paul named Alexander the coppersmith. (2 Tim. 4:14-15).
John named Diotrephes. (3 John 9).

It is NOT wrong to name those whose doctrine and practice is contrary to the Word of God. Paul exposed false teachers and named them. False doctrine overthrows faith in the Word of God, so those who are proclaiming it must be exposed. The whole Bible abounds in examples of false prophets being named and exposed. All this modern day talk about love, is simply an excuse for not exposing error. Their love really is NOT Biblical love, or they would obey God and speak out against heretics!

Moses called the name of Balaam. (Num. 22-25).
Peter exposed "the way of Balaam . . . who loved the wages of unrighteousness" (2 Pet. 2:15).
Jude exposed "the error of Balaam" (Jude I:1).
John exposed "the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication" (Rev. 2:14).
Nathan confronted David to his face. Nathan went right into the presence of David, revealed the sin in a parable form, and then told the enraged David, "Thou art the man" (2 Sam. 12:7).

False teachers is a serious Biblical concern. Most in the religious world de-emphasize doctrine and Truth in general. More and more, the importance of purity and necessity of doctrine are being downplayed. The Scriptures explicitly and irrefutably teach the importance of sound doctrine.

The Lord does NOT like it when we are not strong in His Truth and refuse to stand up for it and defend it.

Why the following people are false teachers and false prophets!

John Avanzini . . . is a name-it-and-claim-it mega-star used by TBN whenever they want to promote the hundredfold blessing. Avanzini also promotes the heresy that God's reason for creating humanity is to duplicate himself.

William M. Branham . . . False Prophesies, Heretical Teachings. He said the zodiac and Egyptian pyramids are equal to Scripture in the revelation of God’s Word. He has a pyramid shaped tombstone in Indiana. Witchcraft, astrology and New Age all use pyramids and zodiacs for divination which means predicting the future. Rodney Howard Browne . . . Holy Laughter, Holy Ghost Bartender Preacher. Serious accusations have been made comparing his ministry with voodoo. His teaching brazenly denies the sovereignty of God, belittles the Holy Spirit, disregards the centrality of the Person of Jesus Christ. Browne believes that he has a special anointing from the Holy Spirit which makes people laugh. Not only laugh, but fall our of your chair laughter even during times of quite somber worship. This supposed holy laughter is truly a scary thing as people all over the world are now claiming it is truly something of God. Churches all cross America and other points are getting more and more into this type of behavior. Holiness for the Lord is thrown out the window.

Kim Clement . . . Many False Prophesies, Made this statement about Salvation: "I do not believe that you must be born again to obtain salvation. I believe there is a distinction."

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland . . . Teaches Name It / Claim It along with Prosperity Gospel and that Christians are little Gods, claims Jesus went to Hell. Kenneth & Gloria Copeland have one of the largest false ministries and influences in America. Copeland teaches that Adam was an exact duplicate of God. Copeland teaches that Jesus became a demonic being when he was crucified and had to go to Hell and be born again. The Copelands attempt to specialize in word-faith teaching. Copeland calls God, the biggest loser in the Bible, and says Jesus was not God during His earthly life.

Paul Crouch . . . Started out right then got greedy in his Ministry along with false remarks. Crouch is responsible for an unending open door welcoming false teachers and prophets to his pulpit no matter how bizarre their teachings may be. Crouch has publicly stated that anyone who tests the teaching of any ministers on his programs will go straight to Hell. Crouch has openly stated his desire to kill Christian apologists who point out heresy preached on his stations.

Creflo Dollar . . . Gospel of Greed, You are not a sinner saved by grace. You are sons and daughters of the Most High God! You are gods!

Jesse Duplantis . . . Gospel of Greed, Claims to have went to Heaven and helped comfort Jesus, etc. NO one can enter Heaven in their corrupt body, NO ONE! (Rev.21:8,27). Duplantis is a typical word-faith clone of Ken Copeland, often preaching from Copeland's pulpit.

Billy Graham . . . He started out right, but ended up leading multitudes to Hell through the Catholic church. I will let his words prove he is a false teacher. “I am far more tolerant of other kinds of Christians than I once was. My contact with Catholic, Lutheran, and other leaders...has helped me, hopefully, to move in the right direction” (“I Can’t Play God Any More,” McCall’s, Jan. 1978, p. 158).

“I used to believe that pagans in far-off countries were lost–were going to hell–if they did not have the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached to them. I no longer believe that. I believe that there are other ways of recognizing the existence of God–through nature, for instance–and plenty of other opportunities, therefore, of saying ‘yes’ to God” (“I Cant’ Play God Any More,” McCall’s, Jan. 1978, p. 156).

["Early on in my life, I didn't know much about Catholics. But through the years I have made many friends within the Roman Catholic church. In fact, when we hold a crusade in a city now, nearly all the Roman Catholic churches support it. And when we went to Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn., for the crusade [last year], we saw St. Paul, which is largely Catholic, and Minneapolis, which is largely Lutheran, both supporting the crusade. That wouldn't have happened 25 years ago" (Billy Graham interview with Promise Keepers New Man magazine, March-April 1997).] He certainly has "made friends" with the Catholic church!

John Hagee . . . calls Covenant Theologians heretics, because they do not make a distinction between the church and Israel in the New Testament. Branding them as the "carriers of Hitler's anointing", Hagee divides the body of Christ on secondary issues.

Kenneth Hagin . . . False Prophesies, Teaches Name It / Claim It along with Christians are little Gods, Claims Jesus went to Hell.

Marilyn Hickey . . . False Prophesies, Prosperity Preacher, Holy Laughter, etc. Hickey is a word-faith teacher teaching false doctrine. One of her tapes records her having a conversation with her billfold, commanding the billfold to fill itself with greenbacks.

Benny Hinn . . . Many False Prophesies, Prosperity Preacher. Hinn was a disciple of the infamous false teacher Kathryn Khulman and has propagated the false doctrines she taught. He has adopted other false teachings from Kenny Copeland and Ken Hagin who picked up the heretical Mormon doctrine that all men can become a god. He also teaches the heretical doctrine that Jesus Christ was born again in Hell. He is a leading "word of faith" false teacher who cannot be born from above but headed straight to Hell!

T. D. Jakes . . . Denies Trinity, (Modalism), Prosperity Gospel, Name It/Claim It, word-faith. Because Jakes denies the Trinity, that makes his church a cult.

Prophet Bernard Jordan . . . Many False Prophesies, Prosperity Gospel. Jordan teaches a false doctrine which appeals to one's greed and self-centeredness. It's ridiculous that Jordan would even dare claim that God has called him to “prepare the church for the New Millennium.”

Daystar Television Marcus & Joni Lamb . . . Started out good, turned to Greed, Name It, Claim It, Prosperity Gospel. See article about the Lambs on following web sites: http://www.letusreason.org/Pent58.htm

Max Lucado . . . his Oak Hills Church teaches an unbiblical unconditional love/acceptance concept quite typical of feelings-oriented churches. They state: "At Oak Hills We Teach ... LOVE -- We are a family of believers who accept each other because God has accepted each of us." Lucado also makes it clear that doctrine will not stand in the way of unity at Oak Hills. Lucado also teaches the Church of Christ's false doctrine that salvation comes only after baptism (baptismal regeneration). Lucado said, "The sin of disunity causes people to go to Hell!" (No chapter and verse was given for this.).

Joyce Meyer . . . Prosperity Gospel and Jesus went to Hell for us. She preaches a non-gospel of riches and self-indulgence.

Mike Murdock . . . False Prophesies, Prosperity Gospel, Name It, Claim It. Murdock is one of these preachers who can stand in front of virtually anyone and preach about getting rich and never blink an eye. He has no shame when it comes to asking for money and promising you will get it back 30, 60, 100 fold.

"Mother" Teresa . . . She worshiped Mary; she believed the wafer of the mass is literally Jesus Christ; she believed all men are children of God. She believed in prayer for everyone. She found no problem praying with Hindus, Muslims, etc. Three pages of sample prayers are prefaced with, "You could replace 'Jesus' by 'God' if you are not a Christian" (p. 35). In 184 pages, there was nothing stating that salvation was through Jesus alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). She wrote, "I've always said we should help a Hindu become a better Hindu, a Muslim become a better Muslim, a Catholic become a better Catholic" (p. 31). There is no attempt to let others know that Jesus is the only way. There is no hint that "Mother" Teresa or her "sisters" believed the narrow way Jesus preached (Mat. 7:13-14). She instructed staunch Hindus to pray sincerely to their own Hindu idols and she felt that if they did, God would not judge them!

Rod Parsley . . . is a word-faith preacher who specializes in whipping up his audiences into altered states of consciousness. His bizarre style is attractive to people who get emotionally carried away by repetitive music and mantras.

Carlton Pearson . . . has even been attacked by false teachers like T.D. Jakes for his support of the "doctrine of exclusion." This doctrine tries to reconcile Christianity and Islam, claiming the 2 religions are completely compatible.

Oral Roberts . . . Many False Prophesies, Prosperity Gospel, Name It, Claim It. Oral Roberts and son, Richard Roberts are both word-faith con-artists. Oral is the originator of the seed-faith doctrine. Have a need? Plant a seed. Large amounts of cash make the best seed for planting. Both men practice cultic doctrines of bringing their cohorts into altered states of consciousness.

Joel Osteen . . . Says even though you do not believe in Jesus, you can make it to Heaven, Self Help Teacher, No Salvation Message, now into prosperity teachings.

Rod Parsley . . . False Prophesies, teaches prosperity message.

Peter Popoff . . . False Prophesies, Prosperity Gospel.

Frederick K.C. Price . . . Claims Jesus went to Hell, Prosperity Gospel. He Calls The Truth of God The Lies of Satan.

Pat Robertson . . . Many False Prophesies, Prosperity Gospel. From Promise Keepers, to Celebration 2000, Chuck Colson’s Prison Fellowship, and James Dobson’s Focus on the Family, Robert Shuller; Robertson continues to co-operate with those in the ecumenical movement to the determent of America and the Church.

Robert Schuller . . . Self Help Teacher, Claims HELL IS THE LOSS OF PRIDE. Schuller is a positive thinking guru who denies essential Christian doctrine.

R.W. Shambach . . . is an incredible con-artist used by CBN to raise money during their telethons. By using scare tactics and false teaching, Shambach surgically convinces thousands to send their money to finance the heretical TBN.

Jimmy Swaggart . . . is dangerous because he has pumped out hundreds of Pentecostal preachers through his school and has deceived millions with lies through his television broadcasts. His belief that a person is not saved unless they can speak in tongues is NOT Biblical. A quote from his Giant Print Expositor's Bible on Luke24:49, page 1835: ("This is the baptism with the Holy Spirit, which is always accompanied by the speaking with other tongues [Acts2:4]: without being thus endued, the Believer and the church are of little worth to the Kingdom of God.") Emphasis mine. "Of little worth to the Kingdom of God . . . if we do not speak in tongues" ??????? Jesus NEVER said that we must speak in other tongues to be saved!

Robert Tilton . . . False Prophesies, Prosperity Gospel, Deceiving Scam Artist.

Jack Van Impe . . . False Prophesies; praised the Popes plan for unity among Christians and the establishment of a world church. He has made the false claim that Catholic’s and fundamentalist Christians are in agreement in the basics of doctrine. Anyone who knows anything about the Catholic catechism knows that it is fundamentally opposed to biblical Christianity.

Rick Warren . . . Seeker Movement, Proponent of finding common ground with other religions regardless of their stance on or about Jesus Christ.

Paula White . . . False Prophesies, Name It, Claim It, Prosperity Gospel. She denies that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God and tells people NOT to pray to Him.

Most of America's churches today are apostate! There are NO sermons on the sins of abortion, covetousness, divorce, drunkenness, feminism, fornication, homosexuality, living together without being married, etc., etc. So many preachers (like Joel Osteen) are preaching a half-way false gospel of love, forgiveness and sinful compromise. They leave out God's hatred of sin and His wrath to come on Judgment Day. There can be NO love without the wrath of God. Just as a coin has two sides, so too, does our God have two sides: love and hate! There can be NO forgiveness without a person being aware of having displeased God by disobedience. There can be NO true harmony between God's TRUE children and the no fear, Christ-rejecting, sin-loving, godless unbelievers. It is SO sad that the love of money has influenced so many men and women to take advantage of Christianity for personal gain. Our precious Saviour and Lord deserves much more that this! On Judgment Day these people and more, will hear what they don't want to hear! Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (KJV) . . .
