Cults: Homosexuality, Sodomy, Lesbians

I am including homosexuality, sodomy and lesbians in our articles on cults. Why? Because they worship "another Jesus" (2 Cor.11:4) . . . and teach and believe "another gospel" (2 Cor.11:4; Gal.1:6). Their Jesus is NOT the same Jesus as a TRUE born again believer! Their doctrine is that of man (Mat.15:9). They are (in my eyes) calling God a "liar" (1 Jn.5:10). They refuse to believe the FACT, the TRUTH that He so clearly states in His Holy and Perfect Word! God DID destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of the SIN of homosexuality (sodomy). See: Genesis chapter 19; also Isa.3:8; Jer.23:14; Luke 17:28-29; 2 Pet.2:4-6; Jude 1:7)

Homosexuality in the Bible, is always mentioned in the context of sexual and immoral behavior!

Is there really such a thing as a "gay Christian"? These people claim to respect Bible authority. But their inadequate arguments cannot hold up as I see it. What about those having a personal interest the pro-gay theology? These people should KNOW more than the ordinary person about what the Bible says! BUT, so many people today are using the new modern bibles which are absolutely corrupt, and have gone to seminaries headed by false teachers and apostates. If a person tries hard enough, they can twist the Scriptures to make them SEEM to say anything you want, especially the new perverted bibles.

Is there really such a thing as a Christian homosexual? I think of my Lord's words so often! Actually, more and more with each passing day. Mat.7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) FEW! Those of us who take our stand with Jesus, and serve Him, are getting fewer and fewer with each day that passes! The vast majority of the world's population does NOT think that there is anything wrong with homosexuality! Homosexuals are EVERYWHERE! They are widely accepted. Those of us who agree with God and His Word are the minority and getting smaller each day. Bibles are no longer allowed in a lot of places. Prayer is no longer allowed in schools or activities.

Jesus was so right! There are only a few who choose to walk that narrow road with Him. And it will get worse. Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (KJV) When Jesus returns for the TRUE church (born again believers) at the Rapture (1 Thes.4:13-18), just how many do you think he will find who have faith and believe what He states in His Word? The Rapture is the next event that is on God's schedule! It could happen at any time according to the signs of Matthew 24 and other places. The Rapture will be very selective! NOT one of the devil's children (1 John 3:10; Eph.2:3) will be removed to Heaven at that time. Only God's TRUE children. If you are not one of them, you could be!

Paul predicts the abandonment of truth for the sake of personal fulfillment: 2 Tim 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV) So many people choose self over Truth and self over God. The heart, having been hardened through deception or rebellion or both, has to be softened. And that is the work of God alone . . . .NOT us! Our work is to simply speak the Truth, trusting Him to make it alive to our hearers.

Many who call themselves "Christians" are Biblically ignorant. Doctrine is less important than for instance . . . good feelings. A USA Today survey revealed: of the 56% of Americans who attend church, 45% went because "it's good for you," 26% went for peace of mind. Specific doctrines, the pollster noted, seemed unimportant.

Truth and doctrine are becoming less and less important to Christians. Christians, just 20 -30 years ago, hated sin, actually feared it, flew from it. What happened? Today, if you accuse someone of sin, they laugh at you.

Has the Gospel Truth changed? No! the people chanced. John the Baptist was brutal with the Pharisees (Mat.3:7-8). Jesus overwhelmed Peter when he tried to interfere with the His mission, (Mat.16:22-23) and Paul was willing to publicly rebuke hypocrisy, even when committed by a respected disciple (Gal.2:11-14). Yes, we must consider gentleness and love . . . but NOT at the expense of Truth. We, like Jesus, John and Paul must speak out when we see sin. If we don't, we are compromising and condoning or excusing it . . . which we have no right to do. Sin is sin to God . . . and it is wrong and shall be punished.

Love is not enough to justify a relationship. An unmarried Christian couple may be very much in love; BUT if they become sexually involved before marriage, it will still be sin. It will still be wrong. A married man can fall deeply in love with a woman other than his wife; that will never sanctify adultery.

Likewise, two men, or women, may be in love. Their love may run very deep, they may pledge fidelity to each other and live as happily as any married heterosexual couple. That will not, justify a homosexual relationship. Scripture places boundaries on human relationships, offering NO compromise, even if love is present and desires to cross those boundaries. If a form of sexual relations is wrong, it is wrong no matter how much love is there.

Some basic information on Sodom and Gomorrah.

In (Genesis 18:1-15) Abraham was informed that he and Sarah would have a son in their old age. Abraham saw three men coming. These were three heavenly beings in human bodies. It is my humble opinion that One of these was the Son of God, (the pre-incarnate Christ).

When the "men" left Abraham (Gen.18:1-19), they started toward Sodom and Gomorrah. Before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, the Lord told Abraham of His decision. Abraham was saddened at hearing what would happen. Abraham asked the Lord . . . again and again about sparing Sodom . . . starting out with 50 on down to 10. See below.

Gen.18:20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; (KJV) Gen.18:24-26 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? [25] That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? [26] And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. Abraham went from 50 to 45 to 30 to 20 then down to 10. Gen.18:32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake. (KJV) GOD utterly destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah! EVERYONE except Lot and his two daughters! That is how corrupt and wicked this place was! There was NOT even ONE person who was there or God would have spared them.

Sodom was NOT destroyed for attempted rape, as some say. It was destroyed because of homosexuality.

The New Oxford Annotated Bible

The New Oxford Annotated Bible reinterprets key parts of the bible involving homosexuality and is now recommended reading by the promoters of sodomy in our culture. SODOMY, homosexuality is a SIN! I would NOT be a faithful servant if I did not tell you what the TRUE Bible clearly states about this immoral SIN.
The New Oxford Annotated Bible, re-interprets the TRUE Bible (KJV) to cancel out or downplay what GOD clearly states in the Bible about homosexuality; also the sovereignty of Jesus Christ, and the sanctity of life.

Lev.18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. (KJV) This is a moral law against ALL conformity to the corrupt usages of the heathen. Yes! I am indicating that ANYONE who practices sodomy in ANY form is NOT a child of God.

Lev.20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (KJV) In Old Testament times sodomy was a crime punishable by death.

Rom 1:24-27 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: [25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. [26] For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: [27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (KJV) God also gave them up . . . or He abandoned them, or He ceased to restrain them, and allowed them to act out their lusts, and to manifest sodomy in their life. He does NOT exert any positive influence to induce them to sin, BUT He does NOT restrain them from their sin. He lets them make their own choice. We ALL have a free will . . . some times it is good! some times it is bad! IF you choose righteousness . . . you shall live in Heaven (Deut.30:19) . . . if you choose wickedness . . . you shall die an eternal death in Hell (Ps.11:6).

1 Cor 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (KJV) ALL unrighteousness is sin; ALL sin that controls you (dominates you), EACH and EVERY actual sin, committed with plan and purpose, and NOT repented of, shuts you OUT of the Kingdom of Heaven. Be not deceived. Men are so inclined to flatter themselves, believing that they may keep living in sin, yet die in Christ, and go to Heaven. Gal.6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. [8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (KJV)

1 Tim 1:9-10 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, [10] For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; (KJV) Anyone who treats God and His Holy, Pure and Perfect Word with contempt, mockery, scorn, OR rejects it, OR re-translates it to suit themselves, is in deep, deep trouble with Him!

The fact is, homosexuality is mentioned in the context of sexual and immoral behavior! The context is quite clear! A variety of behaviors are prohibited; homosexuality . . . along with adultery, fornication and idolatry . . . is one of them.

I MUST write what I know to be TRUTH! Homosexuality is a SIN! Sodomy is a SIN!

IF you are living a life that is NOT pleasing to God, you can repent, walk away from it, confess your sin and God will forgive you. You do NOT need to continue what God says is SIN! He will help you!

1 John 1:8-10 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (KJV)

God created Adam and Eve, NOT Adam and Steve!

God said: Gen.1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (KJV) HOW are two males OR two females going to "multiply"?
