The Damnable World of Joel Osteen

Joel Osteen never takes a stand against sin. Osteen is a greedy businessman and enticement speaker, and a disgrace to the Holy Name of our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ. John the Baptist could have shaved his sermons, turned a blind eye to Herod's adultery, and not told the people they needed to repent . . . BUT . . . he told the Truth. In direct contrast, Joel Osteen does NOT mention the word "repent" until after his sermon is over. He does not want to offend anyone.

2 Tim. 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV)
These persons have such an uneasiness within them, to have some kind of teaching that would put to rest their restless and uneasy desires (brought on by the Holy Spirit). They just want that uneasiness soothed. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth . . . either in contempt, or scorn. The people will simply turn their backs on the only Truth that can save them! They delight in hearing fables, any idle stories, or false words, but do NOT want the TRUTH!
Isaiah 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (KJV) . . . They wanted the prophets to speak only smooth things, things that would NOT condemn them in their sins. They wanted to hear that they did well, and there was no harm nor danger in the course of life they lived . . . and IF the prophets did not speak good, smooth things . . . they wanted NO part of it! In today’s world, millions are being deceived by false teachers. Most of these pastors have a gift of gab. They could sell ice to the Eskimos! BEWARE!!! Check out everything they say or do with the Holy Word of God. In God’s eyes, people who do not want to hear the Truth, deserve to be deceived (2 Thes.2:10-12). Do NOT compromise with the world, just because the majority are in agreement on abortion and homosexuality, does NOT make it right! If it does NOT agree with the Holy Word of God, do NOT do it!

Joel Osteen is a greedy televangelist who's afraid to tell the TRUTH of God's Word, because he would lose money. Judgment Day is coming! 2 Peter 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (KJV) . . . Joel Osteen deceitfully brags of not taking a salary from his church, while making millions from apostate book sales.

In sharp contrast to Osteen's spineless sermons, read this brief excerpt from Jonathan Edward's famous sermon, SINNERS IN THE HANDS OF AN ANGRY GOD.

“The God that holds you over the pit of hell, much as one holds a spider, or some loathsome insect over the fire, abhors you, and is dreadfully provoked: his wrath towards you burns like fire; he looks upon you as worthy of nothing else, but to be cast into the fire; he is of purer eyes than to bear to have you in his sight; you are ten thousand times more abominable in his eyes, than the most hateful venomous serpent is in ours. You have offended him infinitely more than ever a stubborn rebel did his prince; and yet it is nothing but his hand that holds you from falling into the fire every moment. It is to be ascribed to nothing else, that you did not go to hell the last night; that you was suffered to awake again in this world, after you closed your eyes to sleep. And there is no other reason to be given, why you have not dropped into hell since you arose in the morning, but that God's hand has held you up. There is no other reason to be given why you have not gone to hell, since you have sat here in the house of God, provoking his pure eyes by your sinful wicked manner of attending his solemn worship. Yea, there is nothing else that is to be given as a reason why you do not this very moment drop down into hell.”

IF Joel Osteen ever preached a sermon like that, he would lose at least half his congregation overnight. Today's arrogant, pompous, selfish, spoiled rotten, superior, thin-skinned Americans are too narrow-minded for the Truth. Woe unto America! Souls are dying, and Joel Osteen is doing nothing to save them.

America's Dead Churches

It was Billy Sunday, who almost 100 years ago said... "It would be a godsend if the Church would suffer persecution today; she hasn't suffered it for hundreds of years. She is growing rich and lagging behind. Going back."

Evangelical Christianity today is like hogs in a feedlot, the pastors interested only in obtaining more money. John 12:42-43 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Joel Osteen NEVER takes a stand against sin. He refuses to tell the people the TRUTH, that they are sinners and should repent because if they don’t, God’s wrath will come down on them. Telling the Truth is what Joel Osteen should do, because it does bring God’s wrath down on sin, and he does not want that! BUT, he should consider what Jesus tells us!
Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. John 15:18-20 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. (KJV)

There were Pharisees who believed on Jesus; but were not willing to take a stand for God for fear of losing the praise of men. There are also Pharisees in America today! And they are cowards just as they were all those years ago. The average Christian preacher in America today does NOT want to lose the praise of men, because of loss of money. They should come to their senses and think of the judgment that awaits them. God and His Word must come first, the TRUTH must be preached to the world.

Joel Osteen, and hundreds of others are cowards and never stand up for God. They don't want to offend anyone. They write worthless books to keep people from receiving true Christianity. They all are in the ministry to make a buck.
We do not have any John the Baptists to cry out against Herod's adultery (Mark 6:18)! We do not have any Billy Sundays to cry out against liquor, dancing and gambling! We do not have any Jeremiahs or Isaiahs to cry out against child sacrifice. Jer. 7:30-31 For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it. 31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. (KJV) . . . Tophet, in the valley of the son of Hinnom . . . was the place in that valley where the continual fires were kept up, in and through which they sacrificed their children to Moloch. In today’s world, people are still sacrificing their children to Moloch. BEWARE!!!
Isaiah 57:5 Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks? (KJV) . . . The wicked in the last days will be idolaters who have turned their backs on God. They will be guilty of terrible immorality and murder. Adultery and murder are two of the terrible sins of our day, along with covetousness, which is idolatry (Col.3:5). Dear one, this is the condition of the wicked at the present time, and it does include sacrifices of children, which includes devil worship and abortion.

What does God hate??? Proverbs 6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, (KJV) . . . He hates abortion, and we should too, because it is MURDER!
Israel worshipped false gods back then and practiced human sacrifice of children. Americans are no better today, Satanists today sacrifice children, and what about abortion? That is sacrificing those little ones so people can have a carefree life, not tied down to the baby. What is wrong with people? Where are the Isaiahs? We need you!

We need some men of God who hate sin and speak out against it. Where are the men of God who walk with God, and get ANGRY over the wickedness of our society? We must hate what God hates! Where are the men of God who are willing to be counted as a fool for the cause of Christ (1 Cor.4:10)?

There is something wrong with America's Christians today, who are silent concerning the evils which saturate American society. God hates LUKEWARM Christianity (Rev.3:14-16).
Homosexuals are everywhere and we ought to expose them for the Bible-hating, spiritually rebellious sinners they are. Many say that homosexuality and abortion are only minor concerns in churches today. Some pastors believe homosexuals can live a Biblical lifestyle pleasing to God. That is NOT true! We need to protect our children from the evils of homosexuality and take an uncompromising stand against immorality! Homosexuality is immoral. No one has a right to teach children that it is ok to be immoral.

Ellen DeGeneres is an evil woman who hates the Bible, hates the God of the Bible and hates Bible-believing Christians. Only a complete fool would spit in God's face by condemning Bible-believing Christians for preaching against sin. Homosexuality is a horrible sin which guarantees (assures, promises) the judgment of God (Romans 1:24-32).

Eph. 5:11-12 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. (KJV)
What DeGeneres labels as “hate” is obedience to God. We are to expose homosexuality for the vile, shameful sin that it is. Christians are evil in the eyes of homosexuals, and homosexuals are evil in the eyes of Christians. There can be absolutely NO harmony between sodomites and born-again Christians who love God and His Word.

Sad to say, America's churches are silent about the evils of homosexuality. Ellen DeGeneres needs to be exposed as a threat to America's children. Several Fortune 500 companies have embraced Miss DeGeneres, featuring her in commercials. That is wickedness!

Isaiah 32:6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. (KJV)
Matthew 12:34-36 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. The “evil treasure" is the corruption of man’s nature, the wickedness of his heart, producing swarms of lusts, and all kinds of sin that dwell there. Out of the heart proceeds evil and corrupt communications which not only defile himself but others as well. Not only vain words and unprofitable talk, but blasphemies against God, Christ, the Holy Spirit and God’s people (Rev.13:5-6). All of which men shall be accountable for one day (Rev.20:11-15).
But I say unto you . . . Here is that phrase again. A hard lesson indeed. Christ closes this address to His spiteful and wicked hearers by a solemn declaration that for these things God would bring them into judgment. Those who had spoken so maliciously against Him, would not escape . . . not then, not in today’s world. That every idle word that a man shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment . . . Idle word literally means any vain, thoughtless, useless words, that accomplish no good whatsoever. Here it clearly means wicked and injurious, false and malicious words, like those that they had spoken. For any and all such words they shall "give account" (Ecc.12:14; Eph.5:4; Jude 1:1:15). BEWARE! A warning from God!!! Eph. 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. (KJV)

Ellen DeGeneres does not deserve any honor; but Godless heathens who hate Christ Jesus promote and honor her. Ellen DeGeneres is a disgrace to Almighty God, Who shall judge her, and to America. We ALL must obey God's morally perfect Law . . . OR . . . face His holy wrath and His verdict of condemnation to Hell (John 3:18-20, 36).
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. God wants His children to rise out of contentment and self-satisfaction, and NOT to be lukewarm where sin is concerned. We must NOT be afraid to speak our opinion in public concerning the horror of sin.

The Sad Conclusion

It appears that most believers today have given up on the war against sin and evil. Even America's Baptist Churches have become increasingly focused on making money rather than preaching the Truth at all cost. You CANNOT have both! You are going to serve Almighty God and stand by Him . . . OR . . . you are going to serve man and reap the harvest of worthless dollars in eternity! Which will it be for you preacher or teacher???

When I consider our Lord’s marvelous teaching, I am simply in awe! How utterly wise He is! He NEVER leads us astray, ever! Spiritual treasures are indestructible and inaccessible to thieves (Col. 3:2). What are spiritual treasures? They are anything that you do for the cause of Christ! (1 Cor.3:10-17). That is quite the opposite of what the world considers treasure, riches! If your money is hoarded in the bank, and you have uncountable possessions that keep mounting . . . where is your heart? With your treasure! There is nothing wrong with having wealth. Many righteous people in Bible were wealthy. It is NOT money that is evil, it is the LOVE of money that is evil (1 Tim.6:10). What a person loves, THAT is his god.

Far too many pastors today are slaves to their own carnal ego, and are spiritually in denial, proven by their intense desire for financial success and unwillingness to humble themselves to preach the TRUTH. There is a link between a preacher’s love for money as opposed to the amount of Truth he preaches! Sadly, most of today's preachers love money more than the Truth of God’s Word, which is why they are silent about sin, the immorality of America and the damning evils being committed by our government leaders. God pity the preacher who is afraid to preach against sin. Dear one, a person's love for the Lord Jesus Christ can only truly be measured their hatred for sin and evil.
Psalm 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. (KJV)
